The petroleum cotton balls are a reliable and highly effective fire starter for survival situations and can burn for several minutes. Pine resin is also highly flammable and burns hot for a long time. We recommend placing the pine resin on top of the cotton balls and using to ignite sticks or kindling found in your surroundings to start a fire for warmth.
