Our Ponderosa pine salve is made from pine resin, harvested locally, in Wolf creek, Montana. Throughout history humans have used pine resin to treat burns, wounds, skin conditions, infections and respiratory problems.
Uses:
-Pine resin has natural antiseptic and antibacterial properties and has been used for over 2,000 years to treat minor wounds, cuts, scrapes, burns, and skin irritations.
-Pine salve is often used to draw out impurities due to it’s sticky nature. Use to help remove splinters, glass, or toxins from insect bites
-Used by Native Americas to soothe pain and inflammation, arthritis, backaches, and sore muscles.
-Used in traditional medicine as a chest rub to relieve congestion and bronchitis symptoms.
-May help manage various skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, acne and sunburn.
